Hong Kong Tram Trail

<Hong Kong Tram Trail – 100 Years of Urban Development> is brought to you by the University of Hong Kong in celebration of its 100th Anniversary. It covers the urban history of Hong Kong along the tram way from Western District, Sheung Wan, Central, to Wanchai – the oldest urban districts where modern Hong Kong originates. The University of Hong Kong was founded in March 1911 after the completion of the Hong Kong Tramway in 1904. The University of Hong Kong, the oldest university and the Hong Kong Tram, the oldest green transport in Hong Kong have served and witnessed the development of Hong Kong for over 100 years. The theme of HKU100 is “Knowledge, Heritage, and Service”. We are using our knowledge to create the Hong Kong’s Tram Trail APP to let you know about the urban heritage of Hong Kong as a service to the community.
