General information on Pan-PRD's development 

Since 2003, the Pan-PRD Regional Cooperation Project (¡°9+2¡± model), which was promoted by Guangdong Province and supported by Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Hong Kong and Macau government, has been widely accepted and approved. Under the direction of the Central Government and relevant national governmental departments and the full cooperation of the ¡°9+2¡± governments, the Pan-PRD cooperation project has achieved preliminary development, which is experiencing upbeat growing trend.

The Pan-PRD includes provinces and districts in the East, Center and west part of Mainland and Hong Kong, Macau. It takes up 1/5 of the nation¡¯s area, 1/3 of the nation¡¯s population and 1/3 of the nation¡¯s GDP (excluding Hong Kong and Macau). The economic cooperation of the Pan-PRD has a long history which bases on different economic features and specialties of different areas.

The Pan-PRD Regional Cooperation Project follows the ¡°One country, two systems¡± policy. All the provinces and areas involved all obey the legislations and regulations of the People¡¯s Republic of China, Hong Kong and Macau. The cooperation is carried under the direction of Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement and Mainland and Macau Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement . The cooperation is also carried out according to the general requirement of national economy and social development Planning, following the guideline of harmonious regional development and sustainable development, taking full advantages of different specialties and resources, mutual respect, reciprocal cooperation. This cooperation as well follows the market economy principles to promote regional development, broaden regional cooperation, improve cooperation level and quality in order to build up the pattern of interactive, reciprocal and sustainable development. The aim of the project is to broaden the cooperative scale and create the wonderful future of the whole region.

The two cooperation platforms are as the follows: the first is the Pan-PRD Regional Cooperation and Development Forum. The second is the Pan-PRD Regional Business Cooperation Fair.

The Pan-PRD Regional Cooperation and Development Forum and the Pan-PRD Regional Business Cooperation Fair are held jointly by the nine provincial governments of the Pan-PRD region and governments of Hong Kong and Macau. The direction units include the State Development and Reform Committee, the Business Ministry, the State Department Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office and the State Development Research Center.

General information on real estate industry in the Pan-PRD

¡°the Pan-PRD Regional Cooperation¡± is the largest regional cooperation project nation wide. According to research statistics, the whole area of the Pan-PRD region is 2,005,000 square kilometers. Its GDP is 3,884.6 billion RMB, which takes up 33.3% of the nation¡¯s GDP. If considering Hong Kong and Macau at the same time, the region is even more significant in the whole country.

The Pan-PRD cooperation project will no doubt broaden the market scale of its Real Estate industry. LIU Jinhong, the Vice President of the Construction Bureau, pointed out, the cooperation model of this big project opened up a brand new model of the regional cooperation of our country. Under the frame of ¡°9+2¡± cooperation idea, the project will bring more open market for the Real Estate Industry, more efficient financing sources, more advantaged investment policies and more convenient transportation, all of which will allow the further development of real estate agencies, related services, linked industries and role enterprises.
